This text contains explanations on the usage and legal processes of the NEFES Ajansı service. In each section, data, authority and party responsibilities are assessed within their own scope.
What are cookies and similar technologies?
A cookie is a small identifier that a browser stores on behalf of a website. localStorage and sessionStorage are similar technical storage areas in the browser used for certain settings and preferences. At NEFES, these may be used to maintain the session, language preference, sector selection and the site experience.
Browser technologies and access and security logs kept by the web server are not the same thing. IP and error logs are assessed separately under technical logging.
Records set by NEFES
The product code review notes dated 15 October 2026 found the following examples. These are not a definitive inventory of records set simultaneously on all devices; they are audited periodically through real browser measurement.
- __Host-nefes_panel: a secure session identifier used to keep the session going in the logged-in business panel; the session policy may last up to 90 days.
- nefes.lang: the preferred site language.
- Last selected sector: remembering the page and content suited to the business.
- nefes.pfv and nefes.pfoy: browser records that limit repeated voting or selection within the portfolio display.
- nefes.ref: remembering the referral/application routing code within the relevant visit flow.
Purpose and classification
Mandatory technical storage, such as making sign-in work and maintaining security, may be necessary to the extent that the service cannot be provided without it. Preference records such as language and sector provide functionality. Referral and portfolio identifiers are assessed separately according to their purposes and identity links; merely calling them 'anonymous' does not mean the data is not personal data in every case.
Because there is no verified inventory of behavioral advertising cookies, this page does not claim that such tracking takes place. If new analytics or advertising tools are added, the necessary preference management for non-essential cookies must be set up separately.
How do you manage your preferences?
Google Analytics: As of 15 October 2026, on the main site and sector pages, visit and page view measurement is enabled only when you grant analytics consent. The provider is Google LLC. The _ga and _ga_* identifiers are kept for at most 180 days, and the nefes.analytics-consent.v2 preference record is kept for 180 days. Ad personalization is off; form contents, name, phone, email, uploaded photos and URL query parameters are not sent to analytics measurement. The Google Analytics script is not loaded without consent. How Google uses the data.
Using the Cookie preferences button at the bottom of the page, you can change your consent. When “Only necessary” is selected, analytics is disabled and the Analytics cookies for this site are cleared.
You can view, delete or restrict cookies and site data from your browser settings. Blocking mandatory session records may disrupt panel sign-in or session continuity.
Your analytics measurement preference is managed through the Cookie preferences button on the site. Deleting the session and other mandatory records from the browser is a separate process.
Third-party areas and changes
When the user goes to the relevant provider's domain for authorized sign-in, social network account connection, media playback or payment redirection, the provider's own cookie policy may apply. This does not mean NEFES places the same cookies on its own domain.
When a new cookie or purpose is added, the list, duration and preference methods are updated. Contact: info@nefesajans.com.
