Short answer

A boutique hotel's Instagram account should help guests understand the rooms, included services, location and contact options. Sunset photos can support that information. NEFES brings together the property's real photo archive, brand voice and seasonal information in a single content flow.

What does a hotel guest look for on Instagram?

The first three questions are usually concrete: “Is the room really like this?”, “Where is the hotel and what is nearby?”, “How will I get information about price and scope?” A beautiful image does not replace these; the right image supports the answers to these questions.

It is important to clarify from the start which facilities the hotel offers: balconies, breakfast, pool, parking, pet policy, accessibility and seasonal services are described only if they are actually available.

Sort the content archive into five groups

  1. Room: An up-to-date, authorized photo for each real room type; the same room is not used for every category.
  2. Common area: Breakfast room, lobby, garden, terrace and areas that are actually in use.
  3. Surroundings: Points at their actual distance from the property, self-sourced or authorized images.
  4. Service: Details of the breakfast, cleaning, welcome and experience actually provided.
  5. Information: The right channel for location, contact, booking and availability inquiries.

A four-week hotel content cycle

For each week, posts, Stories and Reels can be used in different formats. This plan is not a fixed package or a guaranteed number of bookings.

How to set up a 15-second room Reel?

0–3 seconds: The room's real overall view. Do not create an artificially enlarged sense of square meters in a single frame.

3–7 seconds: Real room details: window, seating area, bed, lighting.

7–11 seconds: A shared area or breakfast the property actually offers.

11–15 seconds: Hotel name, location and a verified reservation contact channel.

Sea views, a pool, crowds or luxury items that do not appear in the footage are not added artificially. Guest faces and personal information are assessed based on consent status.

Review order in multilingual content production

If a property also addresses international guests, translating the words alone is not enough. The room type name, whether breakfast is included, the per-person/per-room price distinction and the cancellation terms must carry the same meaning in every language. NEFES coordinates the language and brand tone of the content; critical price and reservation information is used only with the property's approval.

The path from Instagram to a direct booking request

Instagram content links to the correct phone, website or WhatsApp contact channel. This link does not mean the reservation is completed automatically. Availability and the exact price are confirmed from the property's actual reservation record.

Your Google Business Profile, hotel website and social media contact details must not contradict each other. Campaign wording such as “Starting prices from” requires clarity about what it covers.

Differences for guesthouses and bungalows

For a guesthouse, room and location information may matter most; for a bungalow, access, seasonal conditions, the property's physical features and the actual view may be more important. The property's legal operating status and required permits are verified by the business; content promoting an undocumented place as a licensed accommodation business is not prepared.

Which metrics are closest to business results?

Views of a room Reel are a measure of visibility. A reservation page click or a WhatsApp question is a demand signal. A completed stay, however, is understood through a separate reservation/business record. NEFES does not convert these three stages into a single “sale made” percentage.

Seasonal shoot list

Before the season, refresh room photos, document the condition of shared areas, verify current price coverage and service hours, and review your multilingual core information cards. NEFES builds a regular content, publishing and measurement plan from these.

START IMPLEMENTING

Adapt this guide to your business

Spread a week's content across rooms, shared areas and the real experience of the surroundings. For each post, choose the one question a guest would ask: room type, breakfast, transport or how to book.
